It Comes in Threes?

Why is it that when one thing breaks, 3 or 4 things follow suit? Last month the battery in my car died, last week the batter in Tommy's car died. Okay, I know that periodically it does happen, and so grateful that it happened where we could get someone to quickly jump the car. But, 2 batteries within a month, come on. Then the garage door started acting up. It would go up half way, stop, then back down it would go. Since Tommy parks in the third bay, he never really had to deal with it. So finally he gets out and takes a look at the thing and notices that it is starting to crack and bend in the center. He was so nice to give me the third bay parking spot so I don't have to get out and lift open the door, back out, get out of the car and close the door. We now have to replace the entire garage door. We're not talking any small amount of change to do this! Yes, a mere $729.00 plus tax. Then, last Sunday morning I was ironing clothes for church and my iron goes out. I hate spending $80.00 to $100.00 on an iron, but want to get something that will last. So I broke down and bought a Rowenta in hopes that it will last longer than my last iron. I think he next thing to bread around here will be me! I have been trying to go to the gym 4 days a week. This morning I was up at 5:00 so I could do cardio before my work out. I thought I was going to die. Every muscle and bone in my poor body hurt. My knees were cracking, my elbow was throbbing and I had a stiff neck. Yep, I think I am next!!

You are not next...you have to make it to the beach so i can finally see you! Sorry about all the broken things. Our car did the same but was first the alternator then the battery and now the power steering pump needs some help too. I totally agree about "it comes in threes."

Yeah no fun having things break on you! And you are such a champ getting up that early and getting in that exercise! So proud of you!! But please don't break yourself, we have a fun time ahead you need to be there for!

Ouch that is a lot of loot to fork out! I will send good wishes your way that nothing else breaks for a long time, especially you!

Since you've had all these trials, maybe you're off the hook for a while. Let's hope.
