The Late Summer Project

Since the end of last year I have told myself I was going to paint my loft. So every month I think about it, but never do anything about it. When Tommy and I made our way to Home Depot, Lowe's, or any other store that sells paint, I would grab a couple of paint chip samples. It took me forever to decide on a color, and it was a color I have already used in my house. Finally in March I bought the paint, and it sat for months in the garage. Last week I decided that I would work just 2 hours a day on prepping the room and painting. As you can see, I have a little bit done, but I have only been able to work on it 2 days this week. My excuse is that if I don't start in the morning, it is too late to start. Besides, who wants to start painting after you have already showered and done your hair. My goal is to have it completed before we leave on vacation. Below are some before pictures. Hopefully by my next blog, I will have some BEAUTIFUL after pictures!
Big furniture to move. Humm....maybe that's why I have procrastinated!
A good start, but still need to move the junk on top.

Need to get new art and no, the ladder is
not part of the art!
More big furniture.

Hey it looks great! Who needs to rush painting anyways...?!! And I am not too sad you won't be here cause we'll be down not too long after for Jordan going through the temple. But I do look forward to more visits for sure. Miss you

you are way more brave than me to move all of that stuff. that would have stopped me dead in my tracks. It is a really great color and going to be beautimous when done. When are you guys leaving? Anna and I had such fun today, it was a great Nammie/Anna day. Talk to you tomorrow.
