Well not quite the happiest, but it was pretty darn fun!
When we arrived we went searching for our favorite Mexican restaurant. Drove right to the site of an empty lot! We were DEVASTATED! We spent the next 45 minutes looking to see if The Brothers Sanchez had been relocated to a different area. We finally found a phone booth with a set of yellow pages and saw there was listed a "Los Sanchez" restaurant. Took note of the address and away we went. We still couldn't find it, so we settled for Outback.
Friday was our day at California Adventure and it was a blast! We walked on to most of the rides, and the longest we waited was 20 minutes for the Toy Story ride, which was so much fun. Who ever came up with the arcade thing should get some kind of recognition, cause it was a hoot! Loved all the rides, but still refuse to go on the huge open tower thing that shoots you up into the air with your feet dangling. You know, that high up and nothing to hold you in but this little strap. Anyway, we were done with everything by 3:30, so we waited and saw the parade and left by 5:30.
Saturday was Disneyland and it was packed! We found out that they were filming for a Christmas special to air on Christmas Day. So we stayed away from Main Street where the filming was and worked our way around the park. For as many people as there were, we only waited about 20 minutes for a ride. By 4:30, we had rode all the rides and were ready to leave. So we stayed and watched one of the parades, did some shopping and left the park. On the way we decided to see if we could find our restaurant. We started down the street that was in the address and there it was! We must have driven past it a couple of times the night before. I had enchilada's, and Tommy had mole. (Yuck, I'm not a fan!) We went back to the hotel with our tummies full, our feet tired, and very happy.
