I love the rain and maybe it's because we haven't seen much of it the last few years. Growing up, we had a rainy season and the desert would just bloom. But, there is nothing like a good winter storm. All I want to do is curl up with a blanket, a good book, or maybe watch an old Cary Grant movie.
I went shopping the other day and scored big time on a pair of brown boots. When I was in Arkansas, I found a pair of black boots and regretted that I didn't buy a pair of brown ones. I was so excited when Dillards had their boots on sale and they had a pair in my size.
Well I am off to get a shower and curl up on the couch with my blanket and a movie. I am thinking that maybe I'll watch Charade or Mr. Blanding's Builds his Dream House. Ahhhhh!

YOur plans are so much better than mine!! I had to grocery shop in this weather! Miserable! Now I just want a cup of hot chocolate and a good book, preferably non-textbook! lol Enjoy!!
