Dum Dum de Dum

What a wonderful weekend we had. Andy finally proposed to Antoinette, (Peanut). I have been keeping this a secret for almost 2 weeks and let me just say it has been hard! They have been dating for not quite a year and I could tell that things were progressing along. A few weeks ago he told me that he had asked Jerry, one of her dads, for her hand in marriage.

He finally got the ring and this past Saturday he went to her work, Papa Kelsey's, and took his friend Nathan and his sister Jessica with him. These two can play and sing just about anything. Nathan has a band and the song Andy asked him to play was "Wait for the Moment". Andy was a sport and said I could go and take the pictures.

Peanut didn't know we were coming and Andy positioned himself so that she couldn't see the door. We walked in and Nate and Jessica started playing and singing.

They sounded so great and the song is such a pretty song and perfect for a proposal! Peanut was trying her best not to cry, and so was I!

The restaurant wasn't too busy, but they definitely had everyone's attention.

The proposal and the placing the ring on her finger.

This is the hug after the kiss. I missed the kiss because I couldn't get around to the other side of the wall fast enough.

The ring is gorgeous and goes with the pretty girl!

Thanks to Jessica and Nate for taking time out of their busy day to make this event so special. I think they both could start a career doing this for others.

I am so happy to get a daughter so I am not the only female in my little family. She is great and I am so happy that she will become a part of our family!
